Product Description
STEINEL DL Vario Quattro S is a white ceiling light for an entrance canopy, carport or indoor passage where automatic illumination makes everyday use easier. Its round shape sits close to the ceiling, while the sensor lenses form part of the diffuser. The integrated 9.8 W LED system delivers 1000 lm of warm white 3000 K light, so a separate lamp is not required.
Four PIR sensors provide 360° detection, with the reach in each direction adjusted independently. This is useful when one side faces a short approach and another opens onto a wider area. Local control dials let the installer match the detection zone to the layout and reduce unwanted activation beyond the intended area. Routine operation does not require a phone.
The twilight threshold determines when movement should activate the light, and the timer controls how long it remains on. Further movement restarts that timer. An optional 10% basic light level provides low background illumination between activations; choose a timed period or operation throughout the night.
Where an optional mains switch is fitted, a switching sequence activates four hours of continuous light, followed by an automatic return to sensor operation. Soft start makes the change in brightness gentler when someone arrives after dark.
The plastic housing carries IP54 protection and IK07 impact resistance for indoor and outdoor ceiling applications. Position it with an unobstructed view of the approach, as PIR detection does not work through walls or glass. This S version operates independently and has no interconnection function. Its integrated LED source and control gear are not replaceable.
